1 cup crushed crackers, toast, cake, or zwieback crumbs
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
cup raisins
2 cups cut up cooking apples or 1 (1 lb 4 oz) can of sliced apples
Sprinkle of nutmeg
Sprinkle cinnamon

cup brown sugar
cup orange juice

1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Place crackers, toast, cake, or zwieback between two pieces of waxed paper and use a rolling pin to crush into
crumbs blend in the crumbs with butter and then cover the bottom of an 8x 8 pan with crushed crumbs mixture
in a bowl mix together brown sugar, raisins and apples spread over the crumb mixture sprinkle with nutmeg and
3. Sprinkle cup of brown sugar over top and then dribble cup of orange juice over bake for 30 min
4. Serve with vanilla sauce or ice cream
