1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crisco shortening
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/3 cups water

Directions:
Grease 2-9in pans. use wax paper or parchment paper. Cream butter short. sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. blend dry ingredients and add alternately with water. Bake 350 40 minutes. Cool 10 min and remove and cool.
