2 c. sugar
½ c. margarine
⅔ c. evaporated milk
½ tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
6 oz. cherry drops (chips)
12 regular marshmallows
10 oz. crushed, salted Virginia peanuts
12 oz. chocolate chips
¾ c. crunchy peanut butter
1 tbsp. margarine

Directions:

Melt sugar, margarine, and salt and heat thoroughly. Add evaporated milk and continue to heat. Then add marshmallows and cherry drops and heat gently. Add vanilla, mix thoroughly, pour in buttered (or parchment paper lined) 9x13" pan and chill. For topping, melt chocolate chips (in double boiler or in microwave), than add peanuts, 1 tbsp. margarine, and crunchy peanut butter. Spread over cherry part. Chill.
