1 c. molasses
½ c. sugar
½ c. shortening
1 c. sour milk (or buttermilk)
3 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
2½ c. flour
baking soda
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix molasses, sugar, shortening, sour milk and eggs. Then mix separately cinnamon, ginger, cloves, flour, and baking soda. Combine both mixtures and spread into 11x13" jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes, let cool. Top with powdered sugar icing when cool.
