Cake:
1 box - chocolate cake mix
3 each - eggs
1 can - cherry pie filling

Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup - sugar
5 tbsp. - butter
⅓ cup - milk
6 oz. - semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Combine cake mix, eggs, and cherry pie filling till well blended.
- Grease and flour either two 8" cake pans or one 13"x9" baking pan. Pour in batter.
- Bake for 35 - 40 minutes.

Chocolate Ganache:
- In a small pan combine butter, sugar, and milk. Bring to a simmer and stir constantly for one minute.
- Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Immediately spread over cooled cake.
