Jello


Ingredients:

1 large box apricot jello (6 oz A+P)
2 cups hot water
2 cups cold water
20 oz can sliced pineapple, drained and cut up (reserve juice)
2 cups miniature marshmallows
2 bananas, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and refrigerate Jello and water until thick syrup.

Stir pineapple, marshmallows and bananas into partially thickened jello. Refrigerate until firm.
 

Topping

½ cup pineapple juice (saved from sliced pineapple)
¾ cup sugar
2 tsps flour
1 egg
1 8oz pkg cream cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar & flour - stir in egg & pineapple juice and cook until thickens. Remove from heat & beat in cream cheese, Cool and spread over jello. Let stand in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Seems like it was difficult to find apricot jello, apparently it was available at the A&P grocery store.
