1 onion chopped
4 T butter or margarine
1 T paprika
1 tsp pepper
1 can Cream of chicken soup
2 T Salt
4-5# Chicken or Chicken Pieces
1 1/2 C water
1 pint Sour Cream

Dumplings
3 eggs beaten
2 tsp salt
1/2 c water
2 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Season chicken with salt, pepper and paprika. Brown in butter and onions. Add water, cover and simmer til done. Remove chicken, add soup with pan drippings. Add sour cream. DO NOT BOIL!
Add milk and more paprika if needed.

For Dumplings, (Double or Triple for extra people)

Add all ingredients, mixing well. Mixture will be sticky. Bring a large 3/4 full of water to boil. Add in some salt. Put some of dumpling mix onto a plate. Using a spoon, drop small pieces into boiling, salted water. Cook about 10 minutes. Dumplings will rise to top to continue cooking. Drain into colander. Add to Paprikash sauce, along with chicken pieces.
