Basmati rice 1 cup

Cardamoms 3
Bay leaf 1

Soak basmati rice for 15-20 minutes.

<2> Chop all the vegetables

Now in a cooker or instant pot, add 3 tsp oil , cumin seeds, Onion and saute for awhile. Now add tomato, ginger garlic paste,
cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, chilli, pinch turmeric and saute for awhile

You can add soaked basmati rice and water to the pan and mix it well.

Now add salt, 1 tsp of tomato sauce, lemon juice, coriander leaves, 3-4 tsp ghee. Now pressure cool it for 2 whistles.

<6> You can garnish Pulav with fried raisins and cashews.
<7> You can serve hot Pulav with bread crumbs.
