Sauce: 1/2 c plain yogurt
1 t fresh lemon juice
1/2 t minced garlic
1/4 t salt

Meatballs: 3/4 lb ground beef
1 T fresh oregano, chopped
3/4 t salt
1/2 t minced garlic
1/2 t red pepper

2 t oil
2 T water
4 6-7" pita breads, cut in half
4-8 Boston lettuce leaves
tomato wedges, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Sauce: Combine yogurt, lemon juice, garlic and salt in cup. Set aside. (Or use ranch dressing).
Meatballs: Toss beef, oregano, 1/2 t salt, 1/2 t garlic, 1/4 t pepper in bowl until just combined. Form 1 1/2" meatballs (about 16) and set aside.
Heat oil in skillet over medium high and add meatballs, cooking 4-6 minutes, turning until browned on all sides. Add 2 T water, cover and cook meatballs 2-3 minutes more until meatballs are cooked through. Fill each pita with 2 meatballs and 1 T sauce and lettuce.
