1 lb. fettuccine
1 can chickpeas (15 oz)
2 cloves garlic sliced
4 tbsp. olive oil
chopped Italian parsley
Parmesan cheese if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Place oil in a skillet and saute the garlic until golden. Add the chickpeas and water in the can, salt and pepper and simmer for about 15 min. Cook the fettuccine in boiling water until done. Drain, keeping some of the cooking water. Add the chickpea sauce to the pasta and add some of the reserved cooking water if needed to make more moist. Add parsley and cheese to taste.
