4 lbs of russet potatoes, sliced, boiled about 14 min. and strained
4 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c, butter
salt and pepper
2 tbsp. grated cheese
8 oz.mozzarella cubed
basil chopped
breadcrumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Mash potatoes and add butter, milk, and salt until thick consistency. Beat eggs and add. Add grated cheese. Butter a 9 by 13 inch pyrex pan and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Put half potatoes in pan and spread. Spread mozzarella over potatoes. Add the remaining potatoes. Top with more breadcrumbs. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes.
