1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 egg
some grated cheese
zucchini flowers or other cut up vegetables.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients into a smooth, thick batter. Add cheese to taste. Dip zucchini flowers or other vegetables into batter and deep fry until golden brown. Drain, sprinkle with salt and serve warm.

Vegan option: in place of the egg, add more water and eliminate the cheese. The batter should have the consistency of thick molasses.
