"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Remove stems and clean strawberries, slice long ways and place in the pie shell. heaping the berries.

Heat on medium high in a pot on the stove: Mix Water, corn starch and sugar
Stir constantly, cloudy will clear some and the mixture will thicken, about 8 -10 mins.

Remove from the stove and mix in jello

Pour jello over the strawberries in the pie shell.

Refrigerate

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I keep the pie shell and berries on the baking sheet.

the jello mixture is more than you will need to cover the berries, the mixture will go over the sides of the pie plate and the cookie sheet will catch it.

I clean up the pie plate with wet paper towels, place it in a pie taker and then refrigerate it.

It will thicken at room temp, but the fridge will do it quicker and thicker
