Six large Granny Smith apples, sliced and peeled
2 Tbl. of cinnamon
1/4 Cup brown sugar
Pinch of nutmeg
1/4 Cup all purpose flour
1/8 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp. or bourbon ( may use vanilla if you don't have bourbon)
2 Pillsbury pie crusts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Melt 1/4 stick of butter and 1/4 C white sugar in skillet and spread evenly. This will give it that caramelized crust! Lay a single pie crust in the bottom of a cast iron skillet. Scoop all of your apple filling into that bottom crust. then, put second pie crust on top and tuck the sides in around the edge of the skillet so that you pie filling doesn't escape. Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake in 400º oven for about 35 minutes or until browned to your liking.
