Macaroon Salad Recipe

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
c. coconut
c. oatmeal
tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
c. margarine
1 large container Cool Whip
3 bananas, sliced
c. chopped pecans

Mix dry ingredients, then add egg, margarine, and vanilla.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes or until light brown.
Cool and crumble.

In large glass bowl layer the following: Cool Whip, bananas, crumbs, and nuts, ending with a layer of Cool Whip. Be sure top layer covers bananas so they won't turn dark. Sprinkle a small amount of crumbs on top.
Refrigerate about 4 hours until good and cold before serving.
