2 cups flour
1 t slat
1 t baking powder
2 t baking soda
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup how brewed coffee
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, soda, sugar and cocoa in a bowl.
Add the oil, coffee and milk.
Beat with a mixer for 2 minutes at medium speed.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat another 2 minutes.
Pour batter into tow 9 inch cake pans coated with cooking spray.
Bake 25-30 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes.
Remove cakes from pans and cook on a rack.
 

Frosting

1 cup milk
5 T flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 t vanilla

Directions:

Combine cold milk and four in a saucepan.
Stir over medium heat until thickened.
Cover and refrigerate.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Add chilled milk mixture and beat 10 minutes.
Frost cooled cake.
