1 box butter yellow cake mix
2 c sugar
2 c sour cream
12 oz frozen coconut, thawed
1 1/2 c cool whip
ingredients listed on cake mix box

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix per directions on back of box. Bake in 2 round 8" pans. Cool. Split layers to make 4 layers. Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut. Chill. Reserve 1 cup. Spread remaining mixture between layers. Combine 1 c sour cream mixture with cool whip and frost top of cake. Place in covered cake container and tastes best if refrigerate at least 3 days before serving.
