1 small Granny Smith apple, divided
1 tbsp. finely chopped toasted pecans
2 tbsp. maple syrup
4 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
2 tbsp. butter, melted
One 125 g Brie cheese, cut horizontally in half

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Chop half the apple finely, place in small bowl, add nuts and syrup, mix well. Stack phyllo sheets, brushing with melted butter or spraying with butter spray between each layer. Reserve remaining apple and butter for later use. Cut phyllo into a 10" circle, discard trimmings. Place bottom half of brie in centre of phyllo circle, top with half of apple mixture. Cover with top of brie and remaining apple mixture.
Wrap phyllo around cheese, folding phyllo to completely enclose cheese. Brush with remaining butter or spray. Place on baking sheet or in brie dish.
Bake 15 min or until golden brown. Transfer to platter. Cut remaining apple into thin slices. Add to platter with crackers.
