1 container of whole strawberries

Wash strawberries in the container.
Thoroughly drain.

Large Dog:
Use whole strawberries and cut the leaves off, stems are okay to stay.
Freeze. (optional.)

Medium Dog:
Use Half strawberries and cut the leaves off, stems are okay to stay.
Freeze. (optional.)

Small Dog:
Use quarters of strawberries and cut the leaves off, stems are okay to stay.
Freeze. (optional.)

If not thoroughly drained, strawberries will develop freezer burn which will make it harder for your dog to chew through and still get the flavor of the strawberry.

If your strawberries do get freezer burn, an easier way to make it less intense is by soaking the bagged strawberries in a bowl of hot water for 5 minutes.
