½ cup Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp Sherry or Red Wine (I usually use blackberry, blueberry, or mixed berry)
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
2 Tbsp Brown sugar
1 Tbsp Minced Ginger
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 ½ pounds Flank Steak (beef or venison) sliced thin
3 Tbsp Peanut Oil
8 ozs Snow Peas
4 ozs Broccoli
4 Scallions chopped (or green onions)
Crushed red pepper or Chili powder (to lightly sprinkle on top)

Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Mix soy, ginger, and wine with cornstarch. Stir. Pour half over the beef/vension. Mix and left marinate for about 15 minutes. Heat oil. Stir fry peas and broccoli about 45 seconds in a hot skillet or wok. Take out when tender crisp and set aside. Reheat skillet and add meat, half at a time allowing it to brown before turning it. Remove and fry the other half. Add all meat, vegies, and remaining liquid. Stir fry until sauce is thickened. Sprinkle lightly with crushed red pepper if desired. Serve with rice.
