1 pound Mastascioli pasta cooked and drained
⅓ cup light tasting olive oil or other vegetable oil
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp Accent (seasoning)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 T dry mustard
1 small cucumber - chopped as desired
2 T diced or sliced pimento
2 T dried parsley


Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Put in a covered bowl and chill. The longer it chills, the better it tastes. Overnight is best.

My Grandma Ida Red could cook! This noodle salad STILL goes over big at gatherings. I remember as a little girl running to the kitchen and opening the fridge to see if she had this made up. I was really disappointed when it wasn't there!
