Ingredients: 1 box oven ready lasagna noodles 1 pound ground beef 1 pkg of chopped frozen spinach, defrosted and drained 1 container ricotta cheese 1 450 g pkg mozzarella cheese, grated 2 gloves of garlic finely grated 1 onion chopped finely 1 398 ml can of tomato sauce 1 680 ml can of tomato sauce 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon basil Salt and pepper Parmesan cheese Parsley

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º Brown ground beef. Add onion, garlic,oregano, basil and large can of tomato sauce. Mix well. Add drained spinach, mix well. Add ricotta cheese, mix well. To assemble, spread small can of tomato sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 oven pan. Place lasagna noodles to cover bottom (uses 5 noodles). Spread 1/3 of meat mixture over noodles. Cover this with 1/3 of grated mozzarella cheese. Grate some Parmesan over this. Repeat two more times so that there are 3 layers. (Noodles, meat mixture, cheeses X 3) Sprinkle top with some parsley. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover lasagna and bake for 15 minutes more, Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting. |

Notes: You can buy the tomato sauce with onions and spices included, if you do skip the addition of onion, oregano and basil. Still add garlic.
