Potato Dumplings Recipe

6 Potatoes
1 egg
Flour
Dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Take hot mashed potatoes, and add 1 egg and enough flour to hold together. Knead mixture until right consistency to roll into dumplings.

Take a handful of mixture and shape into the size of a hot dog ( about 4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 inch thick).

Drop in boiling water which has been salted. When done they will rise to top of water. Then
Drain, and add to skillet which has melted butter of margarine in it. Brown.

Do not put milk or butter in mashed potatoes!

Serve with sour Tongue or Roast.

Serve Hot! Delicious!
