1 lb hamburger meat
1 large onion
1 32 oz can tomatoes (sauce or crushed)
1 14½ oz red beans
1 small can mushrooms
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tsp chili powder OR 1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion and brown in hot oil until just tender. Add minced garlic the last minute or two to soften. Add hamburger and continue to brown. (NOTE: Can transfer over to slow cooker if desired or continue to cook on top of stove.)

Add tomatoes, salt, chili powder or paprika, beans and mushrooms.

Simmer all until ready to eat.
