1 -2 pound chicken, boiled and removed from bone
1 16 ounce can mixed vegetables, drained (I use Veg-All)
1 small can cream of chicken soup
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup buttermilk(I use whole buttermilk)
1 stick butter (I prefer Kerigold)

In a large casserole dish layer the following in this order: chicken, drained vegetables, and all soups mixed together ( DO NOT STIR)

In a separate bowl, mix flour, butter(softened), and buttermilk together. Pour on top.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

The bread topping is our favorite part, so I normally DOUBLE the recipe for the topping.
