1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 bottle (4/5 quart) rose wine or dry white table wine
1 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle gelatin in a 2-3 quart pan. Add about 1/4 cup wine, sugar and lemon juice. Place over medium heat until
gelatin and sugar are completely dissolved. Add remaining wine; mix well. Pour mixture into a 9" square baking pan and cool, cover and freeze until mushy (2-3 hours). Spoon mixture into a bowl; beat until airy and well blended. Return to pan,
cover and freeze until firm.

Creamy Wine Sherbet:

Follow directions for above. Before heating, beat 2 egg whites and add 1/4 cup sugar until stiff peaks form; fold into beaten wine mixture and finish as above.
