3/4 c. unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
100g. 70% dark chocolate (about 3 1/2 oz. chopped)

Position rack in lower third of oven; preheat to 375º. Mist 10-inch cast-iron or oven- proof skillet with cooking spray; set aside.

In large bowl, using electric mixer, beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy, 1 minute. Beat in egg, then egg yolk. Beat in vanilla until combined. In separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda. Stir into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Scrape into prepared pan, smoothing top. Bake until golden brown. About 20 minutes.

Remove from oven, sprinkle with dark chocolate, pressing slightly. Return to oven, bake until browned and puffed, about 15 minutes. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.

*I usually make ahead and warm slice in microwave for 15-20 seconds. Top with ice cream. ENJOY!
