2 cans small whole beets
12 hard boiled eggs

Beet juice
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 2/4 cup vinegar
4 whole cinnamon sticks
8-10 whole cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Drain beets from juice--reserving the juice

Simmer until sugar dissolves:
Beet Juice, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves
Strain
Add beets and eggs.
Refrigerate overnight.
Drain juice and serve.
