Ingredients:

1 cup of butter or margarine
½ cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa (may be heaping)


Icing:
3 Level Tbsp. plus 1 Heaping heaping tsp. of Flour
1 cup water
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
½ cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
- Cream together butter and shortening
- Add sugar and mix well
- Add eggs one at a time, beat after each one.
- Add vanilla
- Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to cream mixture
- Bake in greased 10 inch tube pan at 325º for 80 minutes.


Icing:
- Cook the Flour and water until thin
- Beat with electric mixer all other ingredients and add the cooked flour and water and beat until like whipped cream.
