Cucumbers
2 cups water
cider vinegar
½ tsp. alum
¾ cups sugar
3 T. dry mustard
2 T. pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2-qt. saucepan put 2 cups water and fill the rest with the cider vinegar until ¾ full. Add the alum, sugar, dry mustard and pickling salt. Bring to a boil and pour over cukes in canning jars. Small cubes will stay crunchy longer. Jars will seal on their own.
