Ingredients: 1 cup active sourdough starter ¼ cup warm water 1 cup warm milk (110 degrees) 4 cups unbleached all purpose flour ⅓ cup sugar ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp salt

Directions:in a stand mixer Combine: starter, water, milk and 2 cups of flour, mix to form batter cover the bowl and wait 30 min. Combine: sugar, melted butter and salt, egg and salt. stir and add to starter mixture,mix til combined Now change mixer to dough hook On low, add remaining flour ½ cup at a time til all flour is gone the dough should be soft and elastic ( sides of bowl will be clear of dough) knead for 2-3 min. dump on floured surface, knead into a round ball place in well greased bowl, turn dough over and cover with plastic wrap let rise for 30 min. Knead by lifting dough one side at a time over the other side until you have done this to each side. flip over, cover and let it rest 30 min. repeat the last knead process cover and let rise 60 min. do not punch down |

Ingredients: 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp ground cinnamon Mix this together until well combined
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened, almost melted or 1 egg, beaten ( this is for a wash over the dough before adding the sugar mixture

Directions:on a well floured surface roll dough into a 12 x 16 rectangle ( I like my dough to be between 1/2 to 1/4 in thick) spread egg wash across top spread butter over dough (or egg wash) sprinkle the sugar cinnamon over the top roll up dough tightly starting from the long side cut into 1 1/2 inch slices put into a well greased (with butter) 9 x 13 inch pan cover and put into refrigerator over night or for 12 hours take out 1 hour before baking bake Bake in a preheated oven 375 degrees bake 25-30 min. let cool completely before frosting

Directions:beat cream cheese and butter add powder sugar mix well add a little milk if the frosting is too thick if it is too thin add a little more powder sugar |
