1 lb dried apricots
5 cups crushed pineapple
3 cups sugar
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash apricots and soak them overnight in the juice drained from the pineapple
2. In the morning chop the apricots – combine fruit with the juices – add sugar and salt
3. Place fruit and juices in a sauce pan large enough to hold mixture – stir frequently continuing to cook slowly until the
consistency of thick jam.
4. Pour into sterilized jars, seal and store in a cool place
