1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cup butter (says spry or oleo)
1 egg
¼ cup brown molasses
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
½ granulated sugar (to roll the dough in)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the flour, cinnamon, ginger and baking soda. Set aside.
In a large bowl add beat the sugar and butter
Add the egg and molasses.
Add the dry ingredients
Roll dough in balls. 1 tsp each.
Then roll in granulated sugar.
Bake in a 350º oven for 12 minutes
