2 or 3 egg whites
2 tbsp water
1 cup sugar
½ tsp vanilla
1 tsp vinegar
1 pinch salt
1½ pint whipping cream
Unsweetened chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat at together salt and egg whites until ropey – continue beating and add a little water and sugar at a time –
continue beating and add vinegar and beat until mixture is stiff – then add vanilla and beat again until you have firm
peaks the do not fall over
2. Line a pie plate with wax paper – pour egg white mixture into pie plate and cook for 35 min in a slow oven 250º to
275º
3. Turn upside down immediately on a serving plate – cool
4. When cool cover with cool whip and sprinkle with chocolate – let stand at least 4 hours in refrigerator
