Ingredients:
1 package jello with or without sugar. green, red, or orange flavors. (My personal favorite is unsweetened cherry) I think it has the most flavor.

1 container cottage cheese
1 large container cool whip

Directions:
After draining the pineapple, blend all your ingredients together by stirring with a spoon. The jello will be the hardest ingredient to blend into the mixture. After all ingredients are well blended refrigerate for an hour or so and serve.

Personal Notes:
My Great-GrandmaHendrickson used to make this recipe every time we went to Wisconsin to visit from Nebraska or North Carolina or anywhere we used to live. My dad was in the Air Force, so we never lived anywhere for long periods of time.
GrandmaHendrickson taught me how to cook at the young age of two. I started out with this recipe and other no-heat recipes like fruit salad. Then when I was three, we progressed to cookies and main dishes, as well a side dishes. She taught me how to make homemade spaghetti sauce (I never really measure the ingredients I use in my recipes (never had to as Grandma taught me to cook by look and taste).
I remember GrandmaHendrickson quite fondly, she was an incredible woman who Loved the Lord with all of her heart and she loved us that way as well. She never met a stranger and always had life lessons to teach. One of her life lessons was saying that "It is better to dream than to plan what your life will be like because dreams are from God and plans come from you (me). Therefore: your (my) dreams are much BIGGER than We are! And our dreams are bigger than our plans.
GrandmaHendrickson felt that recipes came of dreams, she used to tell me that she dreamed of cooking this or that and so she did, and she never made a bad tasting anything. Most of what she cooked, she made the recipe up herself.
