2 lbs. stew meat, cut in 1" pieces
6 carrots, cut in 2" pieces
4 medium potatoes, peeled & halved
5 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
1 package frozen peas
1 onion diced
cup tapioca
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 - 19 oz. can stewed tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Place beef, carrots, potatoes, celery, peas & onion in a tightly covered casserole dish or dutch oven. (This is important) sprinkle with tapioca, salt & sugar. Add tomatoes & stir to distribute ingredients. Cover tightly & bake in preheated slow oven - 250 - 5 hours. No peeking or it will break the seal.
