Molasses Sugar Cookies

2 cup butter
2 cup sugar
½ cup molasses
2 eggs
4 tsp baking soda
4 cups flour
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bake at 375º
2. Melt butter in a 3 or 4 quart pan and allow to cool – add sugar, molasses, and eggs – beat well – add sifted dry
ingredients and mix well – chill
3. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar – place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet – bake for 6 to 9 min
