6 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
4 cups flour [Tip: Use less flour for thinner pizzelles, e.g., 2¾ cups flour.]
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

In mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar together.
Add melted butter (or margarine) and flour, alternately.
Beat in vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Drop by teaspoonful on to hot iron on stove.
