Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Marinade:

⅓ cup of olive oil
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce
¼ cup of honey
1/2 tsp black pepper

2 lb Flank Steak

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and marinate the steak in a non-reactive bowl (not metal) or a Zip Top plastic bag in a bowl covering steak completely.

Chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Remove steak from marinade and either grill outside or cook in a cast iron pan inside on high heat to get crust on outside of meat, then lower until cooked to temperature. Rare 120-125 º, medium rare 130-140 º ,
medium 145 º.

Let steak rest 10 minutes and then cut across the grain of the meat at a steep diagonal so the steaks strips are wider. Across the grain is important because the meat will be tough if you cut with the grain.
