½ cup butter (1 stick)
½ cup peanut butter (or slightly more, to taste)
½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1¾ cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium-sized bowl, mix thoroughly butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
Blend in flour, baking soda, and salt.
Preheat oven to 375º.
Shape dough into one-inch balls and place onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Using a fork, flatten the ball in a criss-cross pattern.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
