1 large onion, cut into 3 - 4 thick slices
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 cup water
Pork shoulder roast
BBQ sauce (either store-bought or homemade -- see recipe)

Directions:
Directions:
In slow cooker pot, place onion and garlic slices on the bottom of the pot.
Add water.
Put pork shoulder on the onion and garlic bed and cook on High for 11 to 12 hours.
With fork pull apart the pork and place pork in serving bowl.
Add BBQ sauce and mix.
Serve over sandwich rolls or hamburger buns.
