1 cup butter, softened
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts, such as pecans, plus more for optional garnish
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz whipped topping, divided use
2 3-ounce instant lemon pudding
3 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In large bowl combine softened butter, flour and nuts; mix thoroughly. Spread in bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup of the whipped topping and spread over cooled crust. Mix instant pudding mix with milk and spread over cream cheese layer. For final layer, evenly spread dessert with the remaining whipped topping sprinkle with extra nuts, if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Serve cold.
