¾ Cup vegetable oil
1 Cup sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Decorations- crystal sugar, silver shots, sprinkles, icing

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. in a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat oil and sugar on medium speed until well blended. add eggs and vanilla and beat until light in texture. with machine off add flour, baking powder and salt. mix on low speed just until incorporated. cover and refrigerate dough until firm, at least 30 minuets.

2. Divide dough in half. roll out between 2 sheets of lightly floured waxed paper until 1/4 inch thick. cut into cookies using any decorative shapes you like. arrange 1 inch apart on a greased cookie sheet. sprinkle candied decorations on top. Gather any scrapes together and roll out to make more cookies.

3. Bake 12-15 minuets, until cookies are lightly browned around edges. cool on wire rack; ice.
