cup quick-cooking rolled oats
cup packed brown sugar
cup flour
tsp ground cinnamon
cup butter or margarine
Dash of salt

Filling:
2 pounds apples (about 6 medium) or 2 pounds peaches (about 10 medium)
2 Tbsp granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine topping ingredients. Cut butter or margarine into dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside. Peel, core, and slice fruit to make 5-6 cups. Place fruit in a 10x6x2 baking dish. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Sprinkle crumb mixture over all. Bake in a 350 oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
