1 c. baking cocoa
1 c.boiling water
1 c. butter, softened
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. cake flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve cocoa in boiling water, set aside.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients add to creamed mixture alternately with cocoa mixture and sour cream.
Pour into 3 greased 9 in. round baking pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 mins. or until a tooth pick comes out almost clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
