2¼ tsp. active dry yeast
½ tsp. brown sugar
1½ cups warm water (110° F)
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. Italian seasoning (optional)
1 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
3⅓ cups all-purpose flour

Topping suggestions: grated cheese, pepperoni, green pepper, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, sausage, etc.

Directions:
In a small bowl, add warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit and become yeasty for 10 minutes.
Next, add the salt and olive oil and any other spices.
Add flour and mix.
Let sit to rise for 20 minutes.
Spread dough onto pizza pan and add toppings and rise for another 20 minutes.
Bake in the oven at 425º for ten minutes. (Crust should be a golden brown).
