1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2½ cups oatmeal
12 oz. package of chocolate chips
4 oz. Hershey chocolate bar, grated
1½ cups chopped nuts

Directions:

In mixing bowl, cream together butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and oatmeal.
Add chocolate chips and the grated Hershey bar.
Add nuts.
Form dough into golf ball-sized balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake in oven at 350º for 6 minutes.
