1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teas. Salt
1/4 Cup Water
1 Cup Butter

Chocolate Chips
Nuts if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook to 285º, stirring often. Let cook for one minute at 285º. (Add nuts if you desire.) Pour onto well-buttered cookie sheet. Sprinkle chocolate chips over toffee while still very warm. When chocolate has melted, spread over the toffee like frosting.

Cool and break into pieces.
