Pumpkin Cookies Recipe

cup butter
1 cups sugar
1 egg
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup walnuts or almonds, chopped
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in egg, pumpkin and vanilla.
4. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
5. Add to pumpkin mixture.
6. Add nuts and chocolate morsels and mix thoroughly.
7. Drop by teaspoonful onto baking sheet.
8. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
9. Remove from baking sheet while still warm. Cool on wire rack.
