6 Medium Potatoes
1 Medium Onion
1 stick butter
1 13 oz. can of Evaporated Milk
1 Handful Elbow Macaroni (approx. 3/4 cup)
Water to cover
Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut potatoes & onion into chunks, put into a large pan and add water to cover.
Boil for a few minutes, then add the Macaroni. Cook until done. Drain until water just barely covers the potatoes. Add can milk and butter to the potato mixture. Salt & pepper to taste. If you choose to, you can add sliced Carrots & Celery at the same time as the Potatoes & Onion.

Paula Roberts, also known to her Grandchildren as "Granny Goose" handed down this recipe to Reva, her daughter. It was never said, but it is thought that the macaroni was added to make the soup go farther. It has always been a family favorite. This soup was the favorite soup that was sold at Reva & Harold's restaurant..."Reva's Home of the Handwich" in Nashville TN.
